Ryan Usher is an associate attorney at Booth Law Group. His practice focusses on education law and employment law. He represents clients on a number matters involving general and special education, employment law, and contract drafting/review.
Ryan received his B.A. from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, where he graduated cum laude and as member of the honors program. While attending Merrimack, Ryan played Division 2 lacrosse for two years. During his final year at Merrimack, Ryan was an AmeriCorps member with the Jumpstart program, teaching literacy skills to pre-school aged children in low-income areas.
Ryan received his J.D. from the George Washington Law School. After his first and second years of law, Ryan returned to his home state of Minnesota to work at the Minnesota Disability Law Center, and Barna, Guzy and Steffen. During his third year of law school, Ryan was a member of the school’s legal clinic where he represented clients in unemployment benefits disputes at the Washington, D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys biking, playing lacrosse, antiquing, and spending time with his wife and two dogs. Ryan is currently an assistant lacrosse coach at Robbinsdale Armstrong High School.
